"On Aug 14th 2010 Libya's Accident Investigators said, that based on preliminary results of the investigation and analysis of flight data and cockpit voice recorders there is no evidence of any technical malfunction, fire or explosion on board of the aircraft prior to impact nor is there any evidence of fuel shortage or fuel problems. The crew did not report any (technical or medical) problem and did not request any assistance.
On May 11th 2011 the Dutch Onderzoeksraad (Dutch Safety Board) reported, that they attempted to contact Libyan Authorities over a number of months without success and therefore have requested ICAO to ensure the progress of the investigation, for example either by ensuring progress by Libya, Libya requesting another country to continue the investigation, ICAO nominating a replacement investigation body, ICAO continuing the investigation themselves, or any investigation body involved in the investigation, for example the BEA who analysed the recordings of the back boxes, release their investigation results so far."
Vermutlich beschäftigt man sich gerade in Libyen gerade mit was anderem ;)

^Dieser pluspedia-Artikel ist ja mal Murks. Von wegen sechs Totalverluste dieses Typs. Erstens fliegen bis auf fünf noch alle und zwei dieser fünf wurden bei kriegerischen Auseinandersetzungen am Boden zerstört. Der hergestellte Zusammenhang ist also ähnlich seriös, wie wenn ich bei der Pannenstatistik eines Autos berücksichtigen würde, dass ein Autofrachter mit Hunderten Fahrzeugen dieses Typs gesunken ist...
